Joint Letter: Islamophobia and Far-right attacks on asylum seekers

With the horrific violence targeting asylum seekers in Knowsley just days after the Government accepted the recommendations of the Shawcross Review, we are extremely concerned about the Government’s continued refusal to acknowledge and tackle the danger of the far right, especially in the context of their continued attacks on our human rights framework.

Community Policy Forum and Migrants’ Rights Network have written a joint letter that has been sent to Government Ministers and members of the Shadow Cabinet, and signed by over 80 human rights, refugee, faith, and equalities organisations.
